It’s a fantastic ½ mile long stretch perfect for anything from a morning jog to a walk with the whole family.
You’ll want to make a stop at the Bethany Boathouse. Open April - November, you can stop here to enjoy an open-air restaurant atmosphere with a full bar, live music, and a plethora of outdoor seating to create the perfect beach vacation atmosphere for both locals and tourists alike. Our team is a huge fan of stopping here for the daily drink specials, Old Bay steamed shrimp by the pound, and a huge platter of lump crab cakes. A day in Bethany Beach truly isn’t complete without indulging your sweet tooth. Our favorite place to stop in is the Candy Kitchen, a well-known local sweets establishment that’s been in business since 1937. We love supporting other local, family-owned businesses, and their classic salt water taffy selection and homemade fudge flavors can’t be beat.
